Mordhau takes place in a fictional psuedo-medieval setting, with influences from Europe in the medieval and renaissance periods.

The two factions of the game are warring mercenary forces, seemingly hired by Nobles of unspecified kingdoms.

Iron Company[edit | edit source]

Adorned with the Red and Black, their Emblem is a Boars head over crossed Axes.
